Today’s plan to celebrate Fathers’ Day a day early by going out for coffee this morning, went out the window, for various reasons. Instead my SIL went to the hairdresser, and my brother and I whizzed into Bath to pick up steak from the butchers for this evening’s Fathers’ Day feast, the wedding dinner suit from the tailors, and a fruitless search for corn tortillas. A huge contrast in the weather from yesterday when it was a sunny 30 degrees, today wet and 14 degrees! Zonked...
