Goodbye

Today (Thursday), we made the journey to Ayr to the crematorium to say goodbye to my cousin Grant.

It was a lovely humanist service with my cousin Hazel, Grant’s sister bravely giving an Eulogy which both funny and sad. He hasn’t had the best of health these past few years but was looked after well by Hazel and his large circle of friends. We went on to a hotel near where he lived in Troon and it was nice to catch up with family.

Home around 7, it was a long day, didn’t see much of it as a couple of hours to get there and back and then indoors for a few hours too.
