Getting warmer

All set for a walk round Furness Abbey but it was closed. ( staff illness) so we walked round the grounds of Abbey House. Theyve not felled any more trees ( possibly because of  complaints)
  Quite warm today. . Nice to stroll in the shade of the trees. 
Back home and sewed up some of the cardigan I knitted almost 12 months ago. I love the knotting part. The sewing up always seems to take so long.  Ire knitting g tonight of the aran long cardy.. but black is not the best for cable patterns. 
Next jumper will be light coloured. 
Wandering around the garden for inspiration for the  camera group's contre jour theme. The light behind the astilbe seemed right
