Requien's Delphinium

Finally the plant of Delphinium requienii bought on our Valentine's Day trip to the Market Deeping nursery has come into flower. This native of southern France has very attractive greyish-mauve flowers which are very attractive to insects. It also has shiny leaves that are slug resistant, a big bonus in our garden! Hopefully, I shall be able to gather seed and grow more next year.
