The former sees England march on to an unexpected victory against the top test team in the world, New Zealand. The latter are busy rebuilding nests in anticipation of a second brood. In 2014 I voted in the Scottish Independence referendum and accepted its democratic result as being “once in a generation”. I voted in the European Referendum in 2016 and respected that democratic outcome too.
