Blue for a boy
Tiny Tuesday: Male Scarce Chaser Dragonfly
Despite the name the Scarce Chaser is not that rare a creature in this part of the world. The males have blue eyes and this rather dusty Prussian blue, which I rather like. The females have brown eyes and are more of a brown ochre colour.
Thanks to Jensphotos for hosting the challenge this month.
A large part of the middle of my day has been taken up with helping Dave to record the first piece of music that he has written for the wedding of the one of his 3 daughters. Having written music for the first 2 daughters to marry, he feels that it is only right and proper that he do the same for the last one, as you would. Dave attended the Royal Academy of Music and has always been an active musician although day job was as a University Professor and eventually a Vice Chancellor of a couple of Universities.
Given the above, you'll understand that my role in the process was largely confined to Producer/Recording Engineer. :-)
Back here on Blip I am honoured to see that yesterday's Owl shot has managed to make it to the popular page - thanks very much to everyone who has had a look and generously awarded it stars and hearts.
