Looking for breakfast

A very early start this morning allowed me to get down to the Somerset Levels in time to enjoy watching the Barn Owl hunt for breakfast for its chicks.  Although the Owl had certainly seen something here, when it dropped down into the reeds a few seconds later it must have missed it this time, as it came up empty clawed soon after.

Well worth a look in large if you have the time.
