. . . Circular pubs walks on Anglesey” a book that ticks all our boxes! Starting and finishing at Benllech, through woodland and heather over quaint little wooden bridges, passing The Ship Inn on the way (well obviously stopping at rather than passing) before returning via the beach collecting shells for the pot on the way.

Earlier we visited South Stack lighthouse intending to walk down, but had to rethink when a combination of the sheer cliffs, steep steps, dogs on leads, and us being less than nimble made it necessary to take an early bath on heath and safty grounds!

Later after extensive field research by L and myself we dined out at the Trearddur bay hotel, partly because it looked good and partly because by the time we decided “The Oceans Edge” was the best it was fully booked! We weren’t disappointed!!
