Whenever Ellie and I manage a quick break between Friday events at Mary Webb School, we always head straight round the corner to Hignett’s for a greasy carb fix. Did you ever see such a display of glorious beige? Nope, I didn’t think so.

It’s becoming quite apparent that I have an inability to refuse a trip to the pub at the moment. I should have had a night in but instead, had a lovely evening with Vic and Ali which went on far longer than it should have and I was thoroughly glad that I’d thrown my bike lights in my bag at the last minute. A beautiful evening of soulful chat.
