Shaun for the day . . .

. . . Met Shaun in the mid 70’s when they stayed at the same guest house as us in Barmouth for several years on the trot, and the families have stayed in touch ever since! Great to catch up again even though the banter was more parents health and the offspring rather than football and riotous nights out!

We had a challenging few hours on the beach, then a walk down the coastal path past the Adams family house! Really blowy again but fine out of it, the sea is so clear here, and dogs had great fun in the rock pools.

We went to the Sea Shanty for tea which was great. They have loads of boats and stuff packed into the rafters, and rows of bottles filled with shells and sand, just like our summer house!!
