How rockstars like to relax

Ohhh it's so nice to see the sun and be warmed by it! Winter seems to have been stupidly long this year.

We've been so busy this week that I just didn't want to go to church, I wanted to potter quietly! But we went. Bean went off to his group quite happily, Bear stayed in the main meeting with me - until he wanted something he couldn't have and I made the mistake of tempting him with chocolate.... of course he then got his brain working to hunt down the chocolate from everywhere I could think of to hide it. So we went to creche, just in time for snack time but of course he didn't want the chopped up banana I offered, he wanted (and ate) a whole banana. You'd think I didn't feed him at home. He did eat a pretty good breakfast at home though too.

Good to see Colin and Pam after church, they snuck in to say hello - we'll welcome them back next Sunday once they've had a chance to get used to being back in the UK!

Bean scavanged his lunch. Refused all offers of actual lunch, and instead scavanged Bear's bowl of dry cereal from the living room floor where it had spilled earlier. What are we going to do with him...

And then, a crazy noisy barbecue dinner with friends and a hoarde of children! Love these crazy afternoon/evenings with friends.

Tell you what though, I'm really looking forward to not going out tomorrow morning...
