Anogi Arkwrights!
We had a thunderstorm last night in Ithaca which I slept through, so it was damp and cool this morning and brightened up to a pleasant 24C.
We drove a few miles from Stavros to The Katharon Monastery and did a short walk before heading into the small quaint village of Anogi, nearby. The centre is the church and a store/cafe next door. The shop looks like it dates to the early 20th century as you can see from the photo'. I had an iced coffee and Mrs BB had a home made lemonade.
Back at our villa we enjoyed a short walk to Homers School archaelogical site which is situated just under Exogi village where we saw the sunset a couple of nights ago.
We're off out tonight with the villa owners for a meal at a harbour bar in downtown Frikes village. Mrs BB and I wnet there the other night for a drink and it was so quiet - lovely!
