Up early

The Silverback woke early today. He’d been dreaming that a snake was chasing him, and he fell over, then as he was struggling to get up, he woke himself up. 4.45am. So we went over the peeing park in the dark. It was 6 degrees!

I ran back upstairs and the Sparrow was already in the kitchen making coffee. Dashed over to my bowl… nothing. I gave her a pathetically disappointment look. She said “oh, sorry Enz, let me get your biscuits for you.” I smiled. It’s the little things that matter!

By then the Silverback had made it upstairs. “Coming up on the roof to take photos?” He asked. The heater was just making those warming up clicky noises. I sat by it.

“You go ahead I’ll catch up” sez I.
