Fork Handles

The Silverback is well and truly in renovate mode!

There was nothing to do to the new bathroom today, so he dug two mouldy old candlesticks out of the back of the hall cupboard and spent two hours polishing them up!

This led to a bizarre conversation later in the day that I didn’t fully understand.

The Sparrow was going to the supermarket.

‘Anything else for the list’ she asked open endedly.

I was about to say ‘ we could use some more dog treats’ when the Silverback said:

“we’ll need four candles”

I didn’t understand any of the conversation that followed, or why they thought it was funny!
