The robin

This guy lives in my parents' garden with his missus. I went to visit them today (primarily my family, not the robins) and to introduce them to my boyfriend (managed to put it off for over a year). While we were standing talking in the garden (quite a small one), the robin flew from perch to perch all the way around us until he was standing on this pot right behind my dad next to the back door. Like most robins he is bold and cheeky and follows my dad around looking for worms he has disturbed while gardening. He was also kind enough to strike some poses for my camera.

We also went for a walk through the park and along the river and saw a lot of bumblebees finally. We saw a peacock butterfly and a tiny husky puppy that looked more like a kitten. There was a lot of interest in the puppy so I didn't manage to get any photos of his face without it being covered by somebody but I did get some photos showing how small and cute he was.

All in all not a bad day. Tomorrow it's back to work and then I am seeing a counsellor after work. I've not met him yet so it'll be interesting to see how that goes. Hopefully he'll be able to help me but if I don't get a good feeling about it I'll look for somebody else, since I'm paying for it.
