Swan

Busy day.  Weather a bit iffy, some sunshine but also a little rain and wind.  But not cold.

Went to Keep Fit in the morning, and then had my usual walk around the Glen before coming home for lunch. 

 In the afternoon we went down to Rouken Glen for a walk (where I photographed the swan), before visiting Pat and Ron.  It is a difficult visit as although Pat is mentally very sound, her voice is such that she can't communicate very well, and her walking is very difficult.  However, we have known each other for many years and I am godmother to her youngest son, so we keep in touch as best we can.  It is a difficult life for them now, and Ron is her carer, which is a difficult position to be in.

I felt a bit depressed when we left, although as the HG said we are doing good in cheering them up a bit when they don't get much enjoyment out of life.  

But tonight the honeymooners are coming over, they returned home yesterday and we will hear all about it tonight.  At least the bits they want to share!!!!  Great to be a grandma!!!
