We had a wee trip to Rowardennan today...... the countryside is just beautiful just now, with Meadowsweet along the sides of the fields, and lots of Hawthorns, both pink and white, in full flower...... just stunning. 

 It was quite dull with lots of mist.....and we even had a bit of rain, but had a home made snack when we got to Rowardennan, and then had a walk, and included a visit to Rowardennan Hostel, where we spent a lot of our misspent youth in days gone by.  It was looking well kept but very quiet, however, we did meet some lads who were heading there as their stop for the night on the West Highland Way which is 96 miles of pure enjoyment....  They were loving it.  Also met a couple from London (although they were Cypriots) and they were camping along the way, and also enjoying it, even with a spit of rain.  She said she loved rain!!!!
