Nostell Priory

The National Trust had a visit for free weekend this weekend so today we took a trip to Nostell Priory, which is only a few miles out of Wakefield and another place we don't visit very often.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't as nice today, could have done with swapping the days over really. We had a nice walk round the gardens and then Lottie had a good play in the playground before we had a rather chilly picnic.

The house wasn't what I remember, a bit dark and not nearly as nice as some others we have seen.

We headed back with a rather tired little girl and managed to get her in the bath before tea.

Oh well, it's been a lovely weekend but the Sunday evening blues are kicking in, not expecting a good day at work tomorrow.
