Rare trip to Leeds

We live 20 minutes from Leeds. People travel for miles to go there but apart from the odd theatre trip we haven't been into Leeds for more years than I care to remember!

Lottie had asked to stay at her grandma's last night so we decided to jump on the train and do a bit of shopping. I took my camera of course (regretted it half way through the day when my shoulder was aching!) and took a few snaps, this is at Kirkgate station while we were waiting for the train.

Had a good day's shopping although we didn't see half of it really, my feet were killing me by the end. Typically because I wanted to buy some clothes I didn't find anything I liked in the right size, but Mr M did rather well and Lottie didn't do too bad either.

We picked her up from her grandma's and rounded the day off with a Chinese, lovely Saturday :-)
