500 quid a day, easy!

Backblip for Saturday. Last night, I went to see one of my favourite musicians, James Grant, guitarist, singer and frontman for Glasgow band Love & Money, performing a solo gig in Stirling's Tolbooth theatre. Rather amazingly and wonderfully, he also used Twitter to announce a free mini-gig yesterday afternoon outside Stirling's Europa Music shop, as shown here. This was all in support of yesterday's National Record Shop Day. James is a tremendous, skilful and committed live performer, and we were treated to a great acoustic mini-set. The title comes from the suggestion from some wag that he should consider busking for a living as he could clear 500 pounds a day, easy. Oh, and the full gig was bloody marvellous last night too. I might blog about that if I have time.
