Digitalis

I've been going on about the fact that digitalis are on my list of favourite flowers this season and I have to say this creamy one was worth the one-year wait! I bought the plant from Sarah Raven last summer and it really is a showstopper, plus East Ward bees love it!

Funnily enough, we had our last RHS class yesterday and we were allowed to take a lot of plants home... including 20 young plants of Digitalis 'Excelsior', most of which I planted on the plot, except a few that I kept for the back garden.

Lots more foxglove flowers to enjoy next year!
