Brough Castle

Dropped Cal off back at Durham for his last session of 1st year. Flippin' eck where does time go. We stopped off at Brough Castle Ice cream parlour and tea room for lunch. We have been meaning to visit but it only re-opened before Easter. Lovely lunch of Bacon, Melted Brie and cranberry sauce. Touch cold for an ice cream Sundae. Castle dates from 1100s but is built on site of an earlier Roman Fort. I recommend a visit.
