Dedicated…
…to all those people who have climbed up there. This is the old climbing spot at Uluru. It used to have a chain to assist but that has been removed as no climbing is allowed these days.
For our entertainment we took our bikes out and rode around the base of Uluru. There was a good path and it was flat but was tricky as it was sandy and there were lots of people walking. It was really cold and we wished we had taken gloves to wear. It was also very windy.
We didn’t do much else today just sat around reading and chatting to the neighbours. One couple next to us were sited next to us in Ghan. It’s funny as you continue conversations with people who up until a few days ago you had never met. There are lots of families and dogs.
I’ve decided living in a caravan is like those Russian Dolls. Everything is packed inside something else which makes the easiest job a process. I have spent 2 hours this evening having a shower and cooking dinner. You also have to be very organised.
Not much else to report except it is colder than I imagined. 3° overnight and coat weather all day.
