Eleven Fuzzy Years

Laura Earle is alone with me now, and she's become more affectionate toward her human since Carlo died., and Max before that. Only three years ago, this furry, middle-aged former supermodel cat had little time to cuddle up to me, but now she sleeps against my shoulder most nights.
I've been meaning to find another cat to keep Laura Earle company, but I might become jealous of the newcomer.
