Farewell, New York!

This evening we sailed out of New York Harbor, past Lady Liberty in the teeth of what I would consider a stiff gale!

We are aboard Regent Seven Seas Navigator, heading north.  In two days, we will be visiting the port of ... BOSTON!  Nice to know that if we discover we forgot to pack something, we can pop home and pick it up!

(The last time I sailed past the Statue of Liberty was about 60 years ago, when my family and I would cross the Atlantic to England aboard ships like the Queen Mary, the SS France, and the Liberté.)
