My mother's scrapbook
I always knew the book was there but had forgotten about it until I came across it by accident yesterday. Today I looked at it again. It has a title of 'Film Stars' but there are not many of those in it. It seems to have been taken over by pictures of Royals. Many of them are loose and have just been pushed inside, so it was interesting looking at the backs of these!

Judging by the dates of the papers/magazines, my mother must have made this when she was around 14 years old and I don't think it is coincidence that I made my first scrapbooks (Pop Stars & Royal Family) when I was a similar age. I must have got the idea from her and have continued making scrapbooks, mostly of travels over the years, ever since. The ones I make at the moment are more often digitised, but it is something that has never left me.
