Remains

R came for a flying visit, so good to have her here. After picking her up from the ferry we stopped for a picnic and then late afternoon headed to the beach for a swim.

Was wonderful apart from some posho’s nasty terrier attacking Maddie - the owner did nothing to stop it. And then decided for some strange reason to let it off the lead. When it went in for a second go I ended up whacking it on the head with our dog lead. I don’t make a habit of doing this sort of thing, in fact this is a first, but felt I had no other choice as wouldn’t have been able to get it off Maddie without me getting bitten too.

Had a takeaway later. Been a real tonic.
