Brilliance

Not sure what this plant is called but I was very taken with the sunlight on the leaves.  We headed over to Lip na Cloiche, to Lucy's amazing garden, around mid day as there was a fundraiser for the charity Riding for the Disabled.  Looked well attended, hope they raised lots of money.  I've offered to take some photos for them if they need any.  It was really lovely to catch up with L and see S again.  And of course there was cake ...  On the way back we stopped at a favourite beach which surprisingly wasn't that busy, had a picnic and I had a quick dip in the sea.  There's something very therapeutic about the shock of the cold water.
