Lupines

The perennials are starting to bloom. It was a cloudy day and the greens and purples just popped.
I took this picture back on April 10th wondering if we would see babies, and the answer is yes as seen in the extra. One of them is out and down on the ground. I hope they are big enough to be on their own because I don't think it can climb back up.  It seems fairly big but probably a vulnerable time.
