Change from a tenner

These lovely roses came from lidl, 3 bunches at 2.99. Flowers can be such good value and really brighten up the house.
I drove over to Dunfermline today to take something back then went into Dobbies and took advantage of my members 20 % discount this weekend. We've been intending to buy some new garden tools for a while so this seemed to free the perfect opportunity. A new border fork and spade for me and a half moon edger for Colin. Living the dream we are, :-)
I took to my bed in the garden this afternoon, well the sun lounger actually. There was a cool east wind, but it was lovely in the sunshine.
I made another batch of shortbread for Lisa to take back home with her when they go on Tuesday, its well packed with greaseproof paper and even some bubble wrap. It's a very crumbly recipe but it is delicious.
