Poppy Field

We saw on the local Facebook page that there was a stunning poppy field just past Burford on the A40, so we went to have a look this afternoon, partly to cheer ourselves up now that the boys have gone back to Wapping. Lots of people had the same idea, the layby was overflowing and we had to park on the grass verge. It is indeed amazing, but hard to capture in a photo. It's one of those scenes where a mobile phone pic (1st extra) is probably as good as a camera shot. I liked the camera image I chose as the main blip (it was hard getting over that wall!), and I've added a couple of camera extras too.

It's very quiet here now by the way.

The weather is not looking promising for the Jubilee street party tomorrow.
