Great combination.

Not have had these two flowering at the same time before, but it has been a strange year for flowers.
However they look lovely together this year.
A dull start, but turned into a lovely afternoon.

Today is our 55th Wedding Anniversary. Not been out to celebrate, but spent the day relaxing at home. We will celebrate next week when we go on holiday.
I did a bit of pottering in the garden and then sat outside reading.
Later we opened a bottle of one of our favourite wines.

We sat outside reminiscing of the many holidays we have spent there, and made a decision to return next year.
Not driving as before, but flying and hiring a car.
Certainly something to plan and look forward to.
