Fluffy Fledgling

Our 54th Wedding Anniversary and treated ourselves to lunch at Grand Cru, our local restaurant.
So lucky to have this within walking distance of home.
MrC had onion and chive soup to start, and I had Filo Goats Cheese Parcels with Bradley Apple and Beetroot Chutney.
Both had Herb crusted Salmon with Ratatouille and Basil crushed New Potatoes for a main course, and then Coconut Panna Cotta with Tropical Fruit Salsa and Mango Coulis.
A large glass of white wine, and then another treat for me. A glass of sweet Monbazillac wine with the dessert. A place we visited back in 1993 and not a wine we see over here very often.
A really delicious meal. Looking forward to going back soon.
A very Happy Anniversary.
So lovely to get dressed up again!

Blip is one of the many young starlings which are flying about the garden at the moment.
Lots of squabbling over the feeders.
