Golden Queens...

...waiting to be sliced and boiled for preserving. A sticky messy job but one that is good for sitting round the table and chatting whilst the fruit gets sorted in short time and is on the boil before we know it.
Also managed to clean the gas fire and turn it on for the first time this year. A drizzly day, overcast and grey making all seem cold and bleak.
Mother off to overnite with her brother tomorrow so will have 24 hours to myself...B L I S S !!! A nice hot curry for dinner tomorrow evening and a full day at the computer catching up on missed Blips and Blippers...lovely.
