There's sheep on the beach!
And....back to wind and rain.
A leisurely morning, followed by H2 whipping up some Paul Hollywood flatbreads with cheese and bacon for lunch and then we decided to sod the weather and go to the beach.
Harris is very different to Lewis and I'd be hard-pressed to choose a favourite, but the scenery on the way to the beach was incredible. As were the roads - narrow ribbons of tarmac floating over a sea of rocks and ruggedness.
The weather dried up long enough for us to have a walk along the beach - socks off and paddling until our feet went numb (which didn't take long). Stunning beach with white sand and only us 3 plus some random sheep and lambs eating the bladderwrack seaweed.
We then went for a walk, at which point it started raining again.
Then back home to warm up before Gin O'clock, food, wine and Quantum of Solace.
Sadly, no photos of the beach as the camera stayed in the croft due to the weather, so it's a fairly boring snap for today.
