Hairy Coo!!

The rain stopped, so H2 wisely decided that we should go on an adventure around the northern part of Lewis.

So hard to choose one photo for today as we saw many interesting bits and pieces and these will make their way onto other sites, so when they do I'll post a link.

As we were driving along at one point, I mentioned that it would be nice to see if we could find a hairy coo to photograph. H2 had just said how there surprisingly aren't that many on the island when 2 suddenly appeared in field. H2 swung Foxy into a track in front of the beasties and I dashed out to snap a couple of shots.

I took better photos today but this is the one that makes me smile when I look at it and sums up a wonderful day.

And yes, I know it's a cliché to blip a hairy coo, but - do I care? No.
