New feeder

The old bird feeder disappeared in the Wednesday night gales, fortunately it was empty. This is a pic of the new feeder which was full about 6 hours ago!!!

I don't often use a tripod but these flighty things were off as soon as I appeared at the kitchen window so the tripod was recovered from the junk under the desk. The results are amazing by my 'shaky hands' standards. It still took about 30 snaps before I got a decent pic, even then MrsDB's tulips crept in.

I meant to say, I saw my first swallow on Thursday and I can prove it. I have a blurred black shape in an underexposed image that could possibly be it. :(
