The threat of rain looms large all day so whilst there was a bit of sunshine this morning I dashed out with the camera. I've seen these things and often thought they'd make a good study but as they're quite inaccessible I took a long lens and this 'snap'.
I imagine them as two inquisitive locusts peering over the fence, unfolded and transformed from something alien that landed overnight. (Don't mock, remember I also photograph the imaginary little people of Port Appin too).
In fact they are two redundant graders used for separating different sizes of gravel. They were active when the golf course was being built and the landowner struck a band of sea gravel. I guess their days are ended and he'd take any reasonable offer!
