Sleeping Lambs

The moorland sheep are dropping their lambs all over the place now and you've got to go steady when driving on some of the very minor roads as more than often you will come across some sleeping unperturbed on the warm road.

These lambs always seem to have just been washed in Daz as they are very white and clean and I think noticeably smaller than there farm born ones. I wonder if this is because smaller lambs are less pron to complications when the ewes give birth unaided on their own on the moor?

I have seen the black foal with hid white mother again this morning bur too far away to get a good shot
