Pretty flowers all in a row

Having finally got fed up waiting for a fine day, I dragged out the mower and dodging storms and thunder showers I cut the grass today.

All these different coloured primroses have seeded themselves in the front lawn over the last few years, with more appearing every year. I can't bring myself to cut them until they go over so I have a large stripe of long grass across the middle of the front garden full of flowers. for the next few weeks..

Before the gardeners among you remind me that there is a lot of moss in the lawn, I know and as I say to my wife "Don't worry dear, I'll fix it"
