Just outside the stitching cave...

...is this beautiful rose...surely one of the last few of the season and growing just beside it in a large decorative urn is this self-sown Cape Gooseberry that appeared out of the compost I had added from the heap on the other side of the garden. I love their taste (and their Vitamin C ) so it's welcome to stay and bloom where it's planted.
