Brother and sister

Another beautiful day, windy but beautiful. Out for my walk/run with Carolyn along costal path between Inverkip and Lunderston Bay, then back for a coffee.
Had a wee night out with my mum and uncle G. Out for dinner then to the Beacon to see Puccini's Madame Butterfly performed by Opera Bohemia. First time I have been to an opera, another new experience, I did enjoy it, something different.
Fantastic voices, small petite female performers with huge, loud strong voices!
The production was set in modern day Japan, Madame Buttetfly in skinny jeans and t-shirt, it wasn't quite right somehow! I think I would prefer the traditional costumes, maybe I will go again to see it that way.
We then headed out into Gourock. I never thought I would be sitting in Cafe Continental having a drink on a Saturday night with my mum and uncle!! They are good company and had a good laugh sitting talking about my Dad and the daft things he would say and do, and only he would get away with.
He was thee most politically incorrect person I have ever known and he was funny with it. What a guy.
