Aren't they lovely? I do like red horse chestnuts, this one is near to Ali's house and positively glowing in the sunshine.
We were at a funeral today, our organist's wife, herself an accomplished musician and just a couple of years older than us. The horrid breast cancer. She recovered once and then 17 years later it recurred.
It was a lovely service put together by her family and just full of music.
This afternoon after a sore arm nap, I picked up the girls to go to Eilidh's violin lesson. She is coming on well.
We played bridge this evening, online of course, it's been a long time. Early night though, I am finding my wrist very uncomfortable so the sooner I can take a good painkiller and go to sleep, the better. Apologies for minimal comments just now, it's uncomfortable typing
