Don't blow me over!
As part of the 5th Anniversary celebration of the Textile Museum, there was a procession that included stilt walkers, in honor of a marvelous exhibition that has been in the museum for several months and is now set for closing. The exhibition was a huge trans-community effort by Laura Anderson Barbata that brought together stilt walkers and artists from Trinidad and Tobago, New York, and Oaxaca.
The wind was blowing fairly hard during certain sections of the procession, and the walkers really had to hold onto their hats as well as their balance!
