With all the frills upon it

This is it. This is the only photo taken today.

We were up sharp. This fascinator to collect; I collected it from Matalan. We had never been in Matalan before. This was great excitement for us. We’ve seen it, driven past us but never been in.

Himself says he could have gotten his suit on their at half the price.

After that we were onward and upward to Glasgow and the Home Show. We parked at the science centre and walked across the Bells Bridge. It was a beautiful morning and Glasgow was looking lovely.

The show was Same old same old. Garden hoses - too expensive. Pillows. Some cheap some not so . Hot tubs bigger than our living room. Homes made from containers.

Food stalls, drink stalls, sweet stalls. We bought some bits and pieces but not much. Then we went to ikea and got a couple of bits we needed and then came down the road.


I had to go to bed cause I had a really sore head; an hours nap and I was feeling a load better.

Si and I have been watching Das Boot. Goodness but it is brutal but both of us can’t help but draw comparisons to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the brutality reported by the Ukrainian survivors.
