Toy Tractors

Beautiful spring morning and the farmers were taking advantage. There was mist on the river, but by the time I got down there, it had retreated towards the estuary leaving this part of the river with a clear and beautiful light.

The colours of the tractors caught my attention - each one a different colour and just far enough away to look like shiny new child's toys as they worked their way across the fields.

On the river in front of me, yachts sat quietly on their moorings and two of the gig boats were being rowed along on the calm waters of the river. One of the loveliest mornings so far this year.
