Blipped this before but it still impresses me when I see it. Never really liked Britten's music but I think Maggie Hamblin's work on the beach at Aldeburgh is a tour de force.
Not everyone agreed - when it was put here there were lots of objections and some vandalism. Thankfully that has stopped.
There were two brats who hung around the sculpture climbing into shot whenever you tried to take a picture. I joined forces with another snapper, he went one way, I went the other - between us we got brat-free pictures!
