Saturday: Bytowne Cinema

We spent a really pleasant hour catching up with my friend, S, in the UK.  We don’t speak that often but, when we do, we pick up right where we left off.

After that, we walked into town to check out Byward Market now that all the stalls are open.  Somehow we thought there was going to be more to it than there was, but it was still nice to see.  And we did manage to buy some more fiddleheads before they go out of season.  

We walked back a different route which included a detour into an excellently ramshackle second hand bookstore.  Despite this blip we didn’t go to the cinema, I just liked the retro style of it.

We did, however, watch ‘Coda’ this evening, which we really enjoyed.
