Synchronised swimming

It was a beautiful morning so Mr Flossmo and I hurried down to Frensham Little Pond before the hoards arrived. Even so there were any number of dogwalkers having coffee and buns at the cafe. We joined them. Then, to work off the calories, we walked up to the top of the ridge that separates Little Pond from Big Pond, walked back down and then looped around Little Pond. As we walked around the Pond we watched in amusement as a flotilla of ducks made their way purposefully across from one side to the other maintaining a V formation. We concluded that they probably know when the cafe is serving lunch and therefore when is a good time to tout for treats. Or maybe they were just practicing for a Jubilee display. Who can say?
