Moored
An increasing number of narrowboats are moored on the canal locally. This is due to recurring problems with water supplies and lock gates. The stretch just above this image was, a few days ago, empty of water. Now, it is overfull, which makes navigating the locks without causing floods very tricky. One boater I chatted with had taken 15 days to travel as many miles from Sowerby Bridge.
